Day 1: Arrive Boston
Collect your shuttle transfer from Boston Airport to your suburban hotel for a two-night stay. After meeting your Tour Director, enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day 2: Boston
Enjoy a morning’s sightseeing in the historic city of Boston.  The afternoon and evening are yours to explore. (B)

Day 3: Boston – Portland, Maine
Travel north through the town of Salem, noted for its 17th Century witchcraft trials, and the fishing port of Gloucester. Spend the evening in vibrant Portland, Maine. (B)

Day 4: Portland – White Mountains
Visit the lighthouse at Portland Head before heading inland to the glorious White Mountains for an overnight stay in the alpine village of Jackson. Take an aerial tram ride at Cannon Mountain (weather permitting), and admire superb views from the summit! (B)

Day 5: White Mountains – Green Mountains
Enjoy the scenery of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, then continue into Vermont to see Quechee Gorge and Woodstock, possibly the archetypal New England village. Spend tonight in the ski resort of Killington, Vermont. (B)

Day 6: Green Mountains – Sturbridge
Head south through Vermont today to Manchester, and browse the shops that frame its village green. Enter the Berkshire Hills to visit the Hancock Shaker Village. (B)

Day 7: Sturbridge – Newport – Cape Cod
Rhode Island is America’s smallest state, and our visit today includes the sailing capital of Newport, where wealthy families holidayed at the turn of the century. Enjoy a tour of one of their extravagant mansions before heading to Cape Cod for a two-night stay. (B)

Day 8: Martha’s Vineyard or Whale-Watching
Today you have the choice of an unescorted ferry ride for a tour of Martha’s Vineyard, or you can tour Cape Cod and take a whale-watching cruise (weather permitting). (B)

Day 9: Cape Cod – Boston Departure
Our final stop today is the original Pilgrim settlement of Plymouth, where we visit an open-air museum that recreates the historic 1627 village. The tour ends with a late afternoon arrival at Boston’s Logan Airport. (B)
