Day 1: Arrive Orlando

Upon arrival in the ‘Sunshine State’ of Florida and the amusement park capital of the world that is Orlando, collect your rental vehicle and head to International Drive - the centre of all the action. Ahead of you are seven action packed days and nights exploring the almost overwhelming choice of parks, attractions and entertainment. You’re accommodation on famous International Drive is an easy 20 minute drive from the airport and is surrounded by an array of food outlets, shops, restaurants and attractions.

Days 2-7: Orlando & theme parks
Close to the hotel and also on International Drive, you have the spectacular theme parks of Universal and Sea World, plus the immensely enjoyable Wet’n’Wild. A short drive brings you to the seemingly endless array of theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort® that include the original Magic Kingdom as well as Epcot and Animal Kingdom as well as other popular attractions such as Typhoon Lagoon, Disney’s Wide World of Sports and Downtown Disney. One thing is for certain, at the end of your seven action-packed days you’re grins will be a mile wide and you’re ears will be ringing to the tune of, ‘It’s a small world after all.

Day 8: Orlando – Clearwater
Today it is time to leave the giant playground that is Orlando behind and head to Florida’s spectacular Gulf Coast, home to seemingly endless miles of wide, pure white-sand beaches and calm turquoise waters. You’re accommodation for the next seven nights is the picturesque Sheraton Sand Key Resort, offering you the chance to rest, recuperate and recover from the all-day exertions of the previous weeks entertainment.

Days 9-14: The Gulf Coast
Enjoy the Sheraton’s spectacular Gulf Coast Beach; at over 10 acres you’ll never struggle for a quiet spot to relax on. Should that still get too crowded then head into the adjacent and picturesque Sand Key Park and Preserve for some great sea shell hunting. The resort offers all the entertainment and activities you could want for, but should you feel like exploring take the ‘Jolly Trolley’ along to Clearwater Beach’s livelier parts or head out in your hire car to nearby St. Petersburg and its rejuvenated downtown area. The city of Tampa Bay is also close by and is definitely worth a visit.

Day 15: Depart Clearwater
Unfortunately your Florida holiday experience must come to an end today, so head back to the airport in time for your return flight home. Hopefully the restful second week will have helped you recover from the exertions of the first and no doubt you’ll already be planning your next great Florida holiday experience.
