DAY 01 CHENNAI 
Arrive Chennai, 4th largest metropolitan city in India and the capital of Tamil Nadu. Meet and assist at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Chennai.

DAY 02 CHENNAI 
Today proceed for a sightseeing tour of Chennai. Among the places to visit is the Fort St George, where most of the history of Chennai was written. The St Mary’s Church and the San Thome Cathedral, said to be the last resting place of St Thomas the Apostle, are also worth a visit. Of architectural interest is the Kapaleeshwar Temple, with it’s massive and intricately carved gopuram towering into the sky. The Parthasarthy Temple, with it’s 8th century Krishna shrine, is also a Pallava conception. The Marina beach is the seafront, and is the pride of Chennai. Return to your hotel for overnight stay. Overnight in Chennai.

DAY 03 CHENNAI/KANCHIPURAM/MAHABALIPURAM
Check out from the hotel and proceed to Mahabalipuram(58kms/ 1hrs) enroute visit Kanchipuram which is the synonym for some of India’s finest silk saris. This Golden Town of a Thousand Temples, is renowned for the Kamakshi, Varadarajaswami, and Kailasanathar temples, all more than worthy of a visit, arrive and check in at hotel. Later proceed for half day city tour of Mahabalipuram, renowned for its series of charming rathas and the spectacular carved relief depicting Arjuna’s Penance. The magnificent Shore Temple, is a unique temple that houses the shrines of both Shiva and Vishnu while the Varaha Cave is a rock-cut mandapam with two incarnations of Vishnu—Varaha and Vamana—besides scenes of kings and queens. The Krishna Mandapam has a bas-relief of Lord Krishna lifting the Govardhan hill in his fingertips. Other important attractions of Mahabalipuram include the Mahishasuramardini Cave, Kotikal Mandapam, Ramanuja Mandapam, and the Dharmaraja Cave. Overnight in Mahabalipurm.

DAY 04 MAHABALIPURAM/PONDICHERRY
Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Pondicherry (138kms/ 3hrs), arrive and check in at hotel. Later proceed for half day city tour of Pondicherry, visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, where Sri Aurobindo and the Mother lived for the most parts of their lives, Pondicherry also has a pleasant beach alongside promenade and historical monuments. Overnight in Pondicherry.

DAY 05 PONDICHERRY/THANJAVUR
In the morning drive to Thanjavur (177 kms/ 4hrs) Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Later in the afternoon visit the Brihadeshwara Fort and Temple, Thanjavur Palace and Museum. Overnight in Thanjavur.

DAY 06 THANJAVUR/TRICHY
This day drive to Trichy. (55kms/ 1hrs) Arrive Trichy and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Rock Fort Temple, Srirangam Temple and Jambukeshwara Temple. Overnight in Trichy.

DAY 07 TRICHY/MADURAI
In the morning drive to Madurai (142Kms/ 4hrs) Upon arrival check into the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Madurai.

DAY 08 MADURAI
This day proceed for half day city tour of Madurai, The architectural marvels of the temples and the exquisite sculptures fascinate all those who have a look at them. Some of the major attractions in the city are the Meenakshi Temple, Tirumalai Nayak Mahal, The Gandhi Museum, Koodal Azhagar Temple, Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam and Pazhamudhirsolai. Overnight in Madurai.

DAY 09 MADURAI/THEKKADY (PERIYAR)
Early morning drive to Thekkady (142kms/ 4hrs) through rice paddies & tea plantations. Arrive Thekkady and check into your hotel. Thekkady-777 sq.km of lush green tropical forests is the natural habitat of elephant, bison, spotted deer, sambar, bear and many colorful birds etc. Periyar sanctuary, the main attraction of Thekkady, is one of the best sanctuaries in India for watching and photographing elephants at close quarters. Day would be free at leisure. Overnight at Thekkady.

DAY 10 THEKKADY
This day proceed for a boat cruise on Lake Periyar which spreads over an area of 25 sq.km, to view animals in their natural surroundings.  Later in the evening visit the local market, tea estates, spice plantations. Overnight at Thekkady.

DAY 11 THEKKADY/KUMARAKOM
This day drive to Kumarakom (127kms/ 3hrs). Kumarakom is a charming village on the Eastern bank of Vembanadu Lake surrounded by paddy fields. This is an ideal place for a backwater cruise. Day at leisure. Overnight at Kumarkom.

DAY 12 KUMARAKOM/ALLEPPEY (HOUSE BOAT)
Early in the morning, visit the bird sanctuary-the main attraction here. It sprawls over an area of 14 acres and ahs numerous species of birds, including darters, Bitterns, Brahminy Kites, Marsh Harries, Teals and several varieties of Herons roost. Later check out from the hotel and board a houseboat to enjoy the stay in Vembanadu Lake. Overnight in the House boat.

DAY 13 ALLEPPEY/COCHIN
This day disembark the House boat at Alleppey (63kms/ 2hrs) Jetty and drive to Cochin. Arrive Cochin and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cochin.

DAY 14 COCHIN
This day proceed for Half day tour of Cochin city including the Dutch Palace , the Jewish Synagogue , where scrolls of the Old Testament and copper plates inscribed in Hebrew script are preserved, St.Francis Church (1510) where Vasco da Gama was buried in 1524, Dutch Cemetery, the Chinese fishing nets at the entrance of Cochin Harbour and Willingdon Island. p.m. At leisure.  Overnight in Cochin.

DAY 15 COCHIN/OOTY
After breakfast at hotel we drive to Ooty(281kms/ 7hrs). Ooty is popularly known as the “Queen of the blue mountains”. Ooty is famous for its rolling hills covered in pine and eucalyptus forests and its coffee and tea plantation. Arrival and check in to the hotel. Overnight in Ooty.

DAY 16 OOTY
After Breakfast proceed for a city tour of Ooty including Botanical Gardens which has total 1000 varieties of plants, shrubs and trees including orchids, ferns, alpines and medicinal plants among beautiful lawn. Ooty Lake built in 1825, with beautiful surroundings. Raj Bhavan, Dodabetta, about 10kms, the big mountain reaches 2638m. The second highest in Western Ghats. Overnight in Ooty.

DAY 17 OOTY/MYSORE
Early morning drive to Mysore. Mysore, popularly known as the city of Palaces, combines traditional grandeur with modernity and emerges as one of the most beautiful and best planned cities in India. Arrive at Mysore and check into the hotel. Evening visit Brindavan Garden 19 km away from Mysore The 2 km rock-field dam is one of the biggest in India and forms a 130 sq. km. Lake. It was built by Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar to provide continuous water supply for the sivasamudram power station. Overnight in Mysore.

DAY 18 MYSORE/HASSAN
Morning after breakfast proceed for local sightseeing.  Mysore – the city of Royal palaces, sandalwood and the manufacture of incense sticks, The city has a pleasant climate, some beautiful parks and the former capital of  the Princely state. Visit The Tipu sultan’s beautiful summer palace built in 1784, in its lovely garden.
Later drive to Hassan (115kms/ 3hrs). Late evening arrival at Hassan and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hassan.

DAY 19 HASSAN/BANGALORE
This morning after early breakfast you visit the famous Hoysala temples, the Belur and Halebid temples. Though the Belur and the Halebid are both 17 km away from each other, they are considered related. Visit the main temple of Belur, the Chennakeshava which is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Then visit the Shiva Temple at Halebid where you will be awestruck at the colossal structure of Nandi.
Later drive to Bangalore (192Kms/ 5hrs). On arrival in Bangalore, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Bangalore.

DAY 20 BANGALORE
This morning proceed for a half day sight seeing tour of Bangalore City. The states capital and India’s sixth llargest city. Bangalore’s reputation as a Garden city. Includes Lalbagh, The superb botanical garden laid out by Haidar Ali in 1760.Tipu sultan added a wealth of plants and tree from many countries. Bull Temple, The Monolithic Nandi Bull is believed to have grown in size and now measures nearly 5m. in the height and over 6m. In length it is made of grey granite. And Tipu’s summer Palace, to the south was started by Haidar Ali and completed by his son Tipu Sultan in 1789. The structure has a substantial amount of wood with walls and ceiling painted in brilliant colours with beautiful carvings. Back to the hotel.  Overnight in Bangalore.

DAY 21 FLY OUT
